This week in 1959, Billboard's top song was "Venus", by 18 year old Frankie Avalon - who was already a veteran performer.

In fact, Frankie's first network TV appearance was all the way back in December of 1952 on "The Honeymooners". Frankie played trumpet (amazingly well!) and danced.
